Special events at the annual Asian Conference on Arts & Humanities provide an ideal chance to engage with your colleagues and network in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Conference attendees may pay for these events at the hotel, however booking early is advised to avoid disappointment

Thursday and Friday Evening Conference Parties at the RAMADA OSAKA Rooftop Beer Garden

The Beer Garden is a modern Japanese tradition and a great way to unwind at the end of the day, and to meet other delegates in a relaxed setting. The Ramada's Beer Garden is situated on the roof of the hotel, with great views of the downtown skyline. The ticket price includes a simple buffet and a nomihodi (drink as much as you like).

The Conference Dinner will be buffet style and take place in the Oyodo Ball Room and is sponsored by IAFOR and the Ramada Osaka. Attended by several VIPs, including the Japan directors of the World Food Programme and UNICEF, who will also be guest speakers. All proceeds from the dinner will be given to WFP/UNICEF and Hope International Development Agency.

The food will be plentiful and diverse, and mirror the conference's East Meets West theme. Come and meet fellow delegates, network and enjoy the fun and traditional Japanese entertainment.

Sightseeing Visits

I
f you wish to have a break from the conference, then avoid the hassles, headache, language barrier, and costs of traveling on your own, and instead travel with fellow ACAH/ACSS participants on one of our official conference sightseeing tours.

Please note that the tours are operated by Sunrise Tours JTB and all queries related to these trips (including reservations, bookings, and payments) must be directed to JTB.

TRIP 1 - KYOTO

Morning Guided English Tour of Kyoto (7 hours)


Discover the true epitome of Japanese culture, history, religion and mystique. Kyoto, the old capital of Japan, is a must see city with its 2000 temples and shrines. This morning trip includes visits to two world heritage sites: the famous Nijo Castle,

TRIP 2 - NARA
